I will cater my teaching towards your needs and create a personalised plan to get you your desired grade in German. I will be able to tutor you in all skills of German- speaking, writing, listening, reading, grammar and vocabulary. I will even be able to show you how to expand your interests beyond the curriculum if wished.

I currently tutor 2 year 10 students who both recently achieved one of the highest marks in both of their classes for their mock. As well as this, I have also spent my time observing classes and aiding them. For example, I have helped within a secondary class in which they were learning word order with time phrases. Here I helped numerous
students with their individual work, introducing more complex structures where students excelled with original task. Also included explaining basic concepts to students who struggled with the task. With this experience, I've learnt how to adapt when teaching students a foreign language and how to encourage them since many view foreign language lessons as boring and something they should not try as they "can't do it".

Additionally, I have spent over 130 hours volunteering at a local holiday day camp. Here I have learnt skills in lesson and activity planning, improved my leadership skills, and also learnt to personalise my approach to leading. I ran my own group of around 20 children within the holiday camp, planned engaging activities, planned activities with consideration o† SEND needs,
combined groups and leading an activity for 40
children myself & worked with children aged 4-11.
