I will teach by drawing on my strong academic background, including a 2.1 degree in English Literature and History and my ongoing Master’s in English Literature, to deliver lessons rooted in both knowledge and passion for the subject.

My teaching style is rooted in adaptability, organization, and a commitment to student-focused learning. Drawing from my experience as a Teaching Assistant, I am skilled in creating a supportive and structured environment where students feel confident to engage and ask questions. My tutoring background has honed my ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs, using clear explanations and interactive techniques to make complex concepts accessible. I encourage students to guide sessions by identifying areas they find most challenging, ensuring the lessons are both relevant and impactful.

Additionally, my role as Head of Opinion at Gair Rhydd has developed my skills in communication and critical thinking, enabling me to teach students how to construct strong arguments and write effectively. With a solid academic foundation in English Literature and History, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every session, inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Before each session, I will create tailored lesson plans based on students’ individual needs, consulting with them to ensure the content aligns with their goals and adapting to any changes they suggest. I aim to make sessions engaging by sharing my enthusiasm for English while encouraging students to guide the focus, asking what they find most helpful.
