I have tutored basic functionality skills to all ages from primary to adult and helped prospective GCSE students understand and achieve the grade they require for English. I hold a very personal study style which depends on the students I am teaching. For example, I have used a more concentrated and exam skills for those who are able to keep up with that compared to fun but helpful games to students that may struggle to engage with learning or be completely disinterested to help them try find an enjoyment out of English.
I have helped out students which have ADHD and autism which I believe has further helped me understand a study style or pattern to help them remain engaged. Alongside this I further suffer with mental health issues which cause a lack of motivation and through myself have learned how to remain any blocks or limits someone may apply to themselves
I am a firm believer that establishing a habit or a routine of studying is extremely important in the success of an individual. This means I do provide work for outside of tutoring hours and school hours if it applies.
I have achieved a grade 9 (A*) in English language at a GCSE level a grade 8 (A) in English literature at GCSE level and an A-Level grade of an A in English language.
