The initial session will be free consultation - to understand your needs, areas that you may need direct support with and what goals you have for English tuition.

Then, I will establish a lesson plan tailored around your needs (in accordance with the national curriculum and/or any upcoming assessments, where applicable). This will be a combination of presentation-style content, interactive discussions and independent work, depending on the stage of education and can be adaptable to the learning style of the individual.

I want you to be getting the most out of your tuition - the goal is to not only improve your attainment/grades, but to also develop a real confidence with key skills such as essay writing, constructing arguments and critical analysis when interpreting texts.

Having previously worked closely with young people with specific learning difficulties, I am always open to hearing about any adjustments to make the learning experience easier. As we begin working together, we can adapt and make changes to the structure or style of our sessions to suit you.
