I have experience working with younger kids from age 5-9 in teaching basics such as reading, spelling and maths. My teaching style will be based around my student as I find that different people suit different methods of teaching. Whether this is question practice and exam style practice or more visual learning. For example with history, I can either focus on how to answer questions and give you examples of exam style questions or use time lines and mind maps to visual the historic period you are studying. At first I would like to discuss what you have found that has suited you personally better so I can progress your learning in the best way for you. This can include trial runs of different methods if you are unsure so we can push forward in the correct way for you. Helping you to work on your time management so you can focus on other subjects as well as the one I’m helping you with. Making you a fully well rounded student helping you to work to the best of your ability and achieve what you want. The best way to achieve this is by setting an end goal so I can help you get there. Whether this is passing an exam or just some guidance on course work.
