• Promotes freer, more personalized practice / • Provides structured listening and speaking practice
• Introduces the meaning and use of the cycle’s grammar, useful expressions, and discourse.
• Provides controlled grammar practice in realistic contexts, such as short conversations / Provides freer, more personalized speaking practice
• Develops a variety of listening skills, such as listening for main ideas and details / Includes pre and post-listening speaking tasks
• Provides a model writing sample / Develops skills in writing different texts, such as letters and real life stuff
• Provides communicative tasks that help develop oral fluency / Includes recording yourself/ pronunciation awareness / oral practicing / reading

The four MACRO skills come first : reading / listening/ writing and SPEAKING .
