- Subjects I cover: Biology, chemistry, mathematics and statistics, economics, and French
- Lesson structure: At the beginning, we outline the curriculum you will cover for your desired subject and plan how to address each topic/problem area. We then review any class or school materials provided to you to ensure you understand what is expected of you from your school/training program. Then we review practice questions/exams/quizzes/assignments together. While reviewing assessments, I make space for students to explain their thought processes when answering questions, and then I address areas where students are successful and teach them through areas where there are deficits. Depending on how much additional help students need, I provide 2-5 practice questions that are few in number but comprehensive enough to cover major learning objectives.
- School assignments: When school work, lab reports, essays are coming up, I allot time for assignment planning and review, teaching time management and efficient research and writing skills.
