Teaching Approach:
I conduct lessons via Skype, providing an efficient platform for language learning. This allows for vital interaction between student and tutor, enabling instant written and spoken feedback. Skype sessions are less stressful and more relaxed than in-person meetings, facilitating verbal and written communication interchangeably. This natural approach aids in language absorption, making lessons intense yet effective for rapid Norwegian language acquisition.

Many of my students have developed a keen interest in Viking-themed TV shows, sparking a desire to delve deeper into Norwegian and Norse history. I am highly enthusiastic about guiding them through this exploration, drawing upon my expertise to provide comprehensive insights into both Norwegian language and culture, as well as Norse history.

Core Belief:
My core belief is that anyone can swiftly master Norwegian. I prioritise fostering an environment where learners actively engage with the language, steering clear of intimidating grammatical rules. Rather than providing direct answers, I promote critical thinking through thought-provoking questions, empowering learners to uncover solutions independently. This approach enhances autonomy and facilitates organic language comprehension.

Since 2015, I've taught Norwegian to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds. This includes CEOs transitioning to roles in Norway-based companies, students relocating to study in Norway, skilled workers preparing for Norskprøven exams (A1-A2 and B1-B2 level), as well as individuals with Norwegian partners and retirees seeking to keep their minds active.
