Elisa Degasperi

Hi, I am Elisa. I come from Trento, a small city in the north of Italy. I moved to London in 2021 to study Art History.
I graduated with a MA in Cultural, Intellectual, and Visual History. Culture and art in particular are my passions, and I especially like being able to share them. In my lessons I like to go beyond pure language, to introduce you to Italian culture and lifestyle.
I studied Communication and Didactic of Art at Accademia d Belle Arti di Brera (Milan). The course included modules like pedagogy and didactic. I have some practical experience as well. I thought English and German to an 11-year-old Italian girl. I have volunteered for several years to support immigrant kids with their homework. I also assisted Some Chinese students at the Accademia with the preparation of their exams. All these experiences thought me how o explain things clearly and engagingly and how to make people of any age and background feel welcome.
I think that everyone has different approaches to learning. I like to adapt my methods to the person I am teaching, to help them in the best way possible.
I consider myself friendly and patient, but I do believe in the importance of details and can be demanding.
