Hi,
My name is Elisa and I would love to become your new tutor!
I’ve taught English in a primary school while I was in Italy and I loved it. I also home schooled my kids while I was au pair (teaching them how to read, how to write, maths, history, literature and geography).
I am native Italian and speak fluently English and Spanish. I also have a solid base of French (level B1) and a french diploma (ESABAC).
Different people require different methods, therefore my method will be tailored depending on your needs: some people prefer a theoretical approach, some people prefer a more concrete one while some other people prefer using colours, having actual examples of the explanation, drawings, diagrams, charts, etc…
It will all depend on you, don’t worry about it!
Regarding languages, I believe that grammar is a very important part of the process “how to learn a language”; even though it probably is the most difficult one to learn. Therefore, when teaching languages, I always start with a grammar basis before going deeply into vocabulary, speaking, reading and actual conversations.
I believe that everyone is capable of perfectly learning other languages and I want to help people find the confidence to not be scared of them: languages are a beautiful part of our different cultures and it’s amazing to be able to use them to better understand other people and their backgrounds!
I also believe that actively practicing the speaking part is really important: it’s the first language structure used to communicate and the one that requires the most courage but don’t worry, I’m here to guide you.
Let’s learn languages together!!
