Hey there! I am Elisa and I offer repetitions and Italian lessons!
We will study, revise, learn, and have fun together while you will have the great opportunity to deepen this wonderful language with me, an Italian native speaker teacher with already more than 7 years of experience! I can't wait to begin this wonderful journey with you that will bring you so much satisfaction, whether you are already a student in need of support or an adult curious to learn about a new culture and mindset.
My teaching method involves lessons in a relaxed and calm atmosphere, which does not resemble classroom lessons. I rely heavily on confrontation and dialogue between the student and myself because sharp minds must be allowed to fly, but if there are doubts or difficulties, during precisely these moments, we go back to the crux of the matter together so that we can understand why a certain topic has not been understood clearly and then from there, always step by step, we resolve it. At the beginning of the lesson, I usually ask what was done during the lesson at school or if something has been done in between our lessons (such as watching movies, etc. etc.) and then from there, always in this calm and as light-hearted atmosphere as possible, we go on working on our next step and goal.
As mentioned in the presentation of the lessons above, I enjoy using classic educational material such as books, PowerPoint presentations, and more but my method includes more engaging tools such as podcasts, youtube videos, interactive presentations, etc. so to always raise interest in my students and be up-to-date to the most innovative educational methods.
I love teaching and being able to help others, so I always put all my passion and patience into it!
