With a First Class Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Warwick, I am now a MSc student at the University of London.

I previously worked as an Assistant Director at Explore Learning, an award-winning tuition centre, where I oversaw the tutoring and education delivery to over 250 students at the centre (aged 3-16). This involved personally tutoring English (after following a formal training programme) and responding to students individual needs on a weekly basis. I would track student progress and devise future educational plans, to discuss during parental meetings and with corresponding students.

Additionally, I have experience in teaching English abroad, at a local village in the Philippines. My role included pre-planning and leading foreign english lessons, using a variety of fun learning activities to increase levels of engagement.

Either my students will come to me with topics that they would like to focus on during their lessons or I will come up with topic plans. We can discuss this when we first get started. I use a range of teaching methods to ensure knowledge, understanding and recall of the content learnt. I understand the varied needs of different ages and will differ my approaches accordingly. It is important to me that my lessons are clearly structured so that they are easy to follow and students can get the most out of them.

I pride myself in ensuring that my lessons are energising and enjoyable. it is important to me that learning is a really positive experience for my students.
