I provide engaging, dynamic lessons that are flexible and variable based on my students’ individual needs. I understand that each child is different and individuality is something I encourage massively. I feel that schools don’t adequately encourage or cherish unique creative spirit as much as they should, especially in subjects such as English where creativity and harnessing one’s unique experiences can be an essential tool.

For this reason, creativity is something that I integrate throughout my lessons even with aspects of English such as spelling and grammar, which at first glance can seem definite and rigid. I loosen these modules up and deliver them in a way that is fun and memorable - no one ever remembers anything boring! In short, I apply the way I have always learnt to teaching others which in the past has been massively successful.

Having felt the pain of a rigid education system, my goal is to bring a bit more colour back to the subject of English and do my best to inspire the children learning it. Wether it be analogies or structures we build together, it is my mission that your child leaves the session elated and inspired by the creative allowance of our boundless language.

A bit about me:
I am currently 20 years old, studying a BSc Business and Psychology at Bath.
At secondary school, I achieved a 9 in English language, 8 in English Literature and 8 in Maths, aswell as achieving 2x8s, 3x7s and 3x6s in my other subjects.
At college I studied 3 A-levels and achieved a B in English Language.

So I reached out to my friends asking if anyone could recommend a tutor for my boy (something he was not too happy with!) Soon after one of my friends (Elim’s mum) reached out to me and offered his time and said he had enjoyed English and school and college. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical at first as Elim was only 19! But even after that first session my son seemed different. After a few weeks he was confidently explaining to me how different emotions were shown and presented in the book he was reading and how effective they were?! My son passed English with a 6, which he says wouldn’t have been possible without El
