I ensure all learning materials are culturally relevant and draw from my mixed heritage to ensure resources are well informed!

I have worked as a social prescriber for the last 5 years within the NHS. I have delivered amazing arts-on-prescription programmes in novel contexts and hope to inspire you to find your niche within psychology. I am passionate about the social determinants of health and finding ways to connect our behaviour to wider sociological and biological principles.

Community work forms a large part of my work history; I am always building links in the local community to develop and nurture initiatives which are grass roots and cutting edge. Beyond that I have a history of working with established institutions such as universities and hospitals, to inform and train on new models of health and more culturally appropriate/trauma informed ways of working.

I am flexible and dynamic with scheduling my time to ensure that the best engagement is possible. I am committed to delivering the best learning experience possible and I believe that is founded on trust and respect first. I look forward to working with curious and excited students who want to thrive within this brilliant field!
