When I teach, I primarily focus on letting my students discover how competent they are and how amazing our innate sense of wonder -as human beings- is. This sense of wonder is the basis of Science, and I do know we all have it. So, my mission as a teacher is to awaken possibility in my students and make them realize that they have capabilities and that hard work and good guidance from a passionate teacher can be enough for them to excel in any field.
My ongoing mission is to show my students the elegant simplicity of Science even when equations may seem complex. The main idea is to look beyond the operations and letters of an equation and put them into context, that is where the elegance of Science appears.
I have taught Physics and Mathematics to more than 15 students distributed along different group ages, and have written Physics explanations for French high-school students. Moreover, throughout my journey as a teacher and a Physicist, my key tool for teaching is simplicity! And simplicity comes with understanding, that is why I focus on explaining and demonstrating most of the equations so that they become understandable and surely more tangible to my students.
