I design my lessons to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, with a focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. Lessons are structured yet flexible, ensuring we can explore areas where students need the most support while celebrating their progress.

Lesson Format
• Introduction: A warm-up activity to recap prior learning and spark curiosity for the session.
• Main Content: Clear explanations and step-by-step guidance, supported by practical examples and interactive tasks.
• Practice: Activities designed to build understanding and mastery, whether through games, discussions, or written work.
• Review: A recap of key points and an opportunity for students to reflect, ask questions, and consolidate their learning.

I include visual aids, hands-on activities, and opportunities for discussion to ensure every student feels engaged and understood. For those with specific needs, I incorporate strategies such as sensory breaks, differentiated tasks, and emotional regulation techniques to make learning accessible and enjoyable.

Experience and Expertise
I’m currently completing a degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status, specializing in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). I have experience teaching in mainstream and special education settings, working with children of varying abilities. My approach is trauma-informed, and I emphasize emotional regulation and well-being as key components of successful learning.
