I am a passionate graduate from the University of St Andrews with experience in tutoring offering Maths lessons for all levels up to University level, including helping you prepare for exams.
I know from experience that the fear of making mistakes is something that can really block people in a subject like Maths, where there is usually only one right answer. But mistakes are of course an inevitable part of learning and it should not make you scared of a subject. Mathematics requires practice and I am here to help you with this process and make sure that you come out of my lesson more confident. If you leave one of my lessons more anxious than before, then I have failed at my job.

The content of my lessons are dictated by and catered to your specific needs, and this will be discussed prior to the lesson so that I can find the right exercises and figure out how to help you beforehand. My usual plan for a lesson will start with me guiding you through a few examples. This helps me identify which area needs the most practice so I can then choose the right exercises for further practice, where you can ask me any question. At the end of the lesson, if you require more practice, I will leave you with more exercises to strengthen the skills that you need help with.
