I have 25 years’ experience in teaching ESL, French and Spanish to adults [private tutoring], university students, and in company. Besides a PhD, I have a Level 5 TEFL Certificate from the TEFL Academy [TTA 2021]. I have taught both online and face to face. My expertise is to engage students to speak the language they are learning without fear and while having fun at the same time. My passion is to connect with my students! I am Venezuelan Australian, and I recently moved to Madrid with my husband for a year.

Speaking a new language is one of the most difficult skills to learn, but often the most desired skill to acquire by those who are learning that new language. I have learned through experience that students need an environment - whether face to face or online - where they can feel confident and comfortable to make mistakes and learn through trial and error.
