I teach in-person flute lessons in my studio in Philadelphia, USA. Online lessons are taught via Zoom.

I believe music education can improve anyone’s quality of life. I have high expectations of my flute students whether they aim to perform professionally, or casually play during their spare time. Young or old, beginner or advanced, music education is for everyone. It develops an ability to effectively work in teams, builds drive and discipline, kindles imagination, and connects you to the human spirit.

During our flute lessons, we focus on tone, technique, strong practice habits, basic music theory, and musicality. We also talk about personal fitness. Playing flute is an extremely physical activity, and I firmly believe that mind and body are intimately related. I recommend that all my students are members of a gym, part of a sports team, or simply develop and pursue their own personal fitness and health goals.
