I love learning foreign languages, traveling and art. I paint artworks in art-deco style using oils and acrylics.

I graduated the University of Sheffield in UK with a First Class Master degree in Modern Foreign Languages, specifically Russian and German. I have years of teaching experience. I worked as Russian and German Teacher in the schools in England including one of the most prestigious boarding schools in UK. Russian is my native Language that I teach to all levels of students. I'm fluent in German that I teach up to A-level. I adjust my lessons to the goals of learning, academic needs of my students, required vocabulary and life situations foreign language will be used at. My lessons are interactive and fun. I concentrate on vocabulary, basic (or advanced) grammar learning and cover the most interesting topics of the culture, literature, art, life style of the country. For the younger age (and not only) I offer fun educational games. Elena is a friend of mine who taught me Russian Language for one year. Elena is an excellent teacher: warm and friendly. Her lessons are professional, well planned with good structure. I knew some basic Russian already, but after Elena's lessons my vocabulary and grammar knowledge went way up. On the end of the course I could speak on main topics with confidence, correctly build sentences and correctly pronounce. Elena's lessons are always fun with interesting information about Russian culture, traditions and life style. She definitely acheived what I was looking for. I'm very satisfied with her teaching approach and I highly recommend Elena to any age of a student.

Elena provided language instruction in Russian to my teenage daughter over 18 months. A good natured, highly focused and driven individual, Elena gets along easily with young people. The lessons she provided were well planned and structured with appropriate content to meet the learning outcomes in an effective way. The manner in which Elena delivered the lessons employed teaching techniques that made the lessons interesting while keeping my daughter engaged. For example, Elena would clearly explain, using text and pictorial representations to assist in the understanding of difficult words and phrases. Although my daughter did not take a formal language exam in Russian language, the learning experience provided by Elena helped her to broaden her knowledge and understanding of a different culture, and to speak in Russian.I highly recommend Elena as a language tutor and I believe that she will be a great help in your learning of foreign language.

Elena was recommended to me as an experienced languages teacher.Elena provided German lessons to my 12 years old son for a period of 8 months. We plan to move to Germany and I wanted him to have some basics in German and to catch on German GCSE school program. My son is extremely shy and I was a bit nervous at first, but Elena was amazing and has outdone herself: very proffessional, easygoing, warm, welcoming and friendly. She made my son feel relaxed and fully engaged in learning from the beginning. Elena's lessons were tailored to his interests, including gaming activities that made learning complex German grammar and vocabulary more fun. My son not only learned the basics of German language, but also received a lot of interesting information about the culture and traditions of Germany and German-speaking countries.Very satisfied! Excellent teacher. I highly recommend Elena.
