My lessons will vary from student to student. Whether you need to top up pre-existing knowledge or start from scratch, your tutoring plan can be adapted accordingly. In the case of GCSE chemistry and physics, you will learn the "why" behind the science, and learn how this applies to exam questions, tailored to your exam board. My lessons will include plenty of past paper questions to ensure you feel fully prepared for what lies ahead. Knowing the mark scheme is essential, and this is something we will cover thoroughly. In the cases of A-Level and GCSE history, we will go through your exam board specification. It is crucial that you understand what each question is demanding to know how to apply facts and critical thinking. Quizzes work especially well for history; it is vital that on the exam day you know your stuff, which is exactly what we will work on. Knowing the facts and applying them concisely to the question is exactly how those top grades are reached. No matter what your aim is for your subject, my lessons can be adapted to suit those needs. Having attended Weald of Kent Grammar School for GCSEs, The Judd School for A-levels, and the University of Nottingham for my degree in history, I have an in-depth understanding of the demanding pressure of exams, and how to succeed. I go by a "no-silly-questions" ethos. It is of paramount importance for you to feel comfortable to ask any question, and I will always answer it to the best of my ability, providing a relaxed and friendly environment.
