Hello! I'm Eleanor, a French tutor based online but studying in the UK.

Over the past two years I have gained over 300 lessons' experience in GCSE A level and international exam tutoring. My sessions are designed around each student individually; catering to their needs, interests and aspirations.

I can help with
- GCSE/IGCSE (vocab, grammar, content, exam technique and speaking practice)
- A level (research skills, content, grammar, research project, exam technique and speaking practice)
- DELF/International exams (content, grammar, vocabulary, listening and understanding, speaking practice)
- Adult learners and conversation practice (holiday topics of conversation, travel phrases, introducing yourself and having a conversation)

When preparing for an exam, I can help design a personalised study schedule to ensure you reach your target grade.

My sessions provide a safe space for students to make mistakes and learn from them, all the while encouraging growth and personal development. I believe language students should be able to use their new skills and vocabulary to discuss topics that they enjoy and that are relevant to their own lives as well as learning what an exam requires. As such, I often ask learners to prepare presentations on their interests and recent events so they can be discussed in class.

When helping GCSE, A level and International exam students, I do set homework and ask that it be sent back in a timely manner whenever possible. Please note that these homeworks are always shorter than what may be set by a school or institution.

I use zoom workplace for a secure method of teaching and my practices align with GDPR regulations.
