Hello! I'm Eleanor, a second year medical student at the University of Manchester. Having consistently been an attentive and punctual student in my first two years at University, I understand how important professionalism is, and I will ensure to bring the highest standard of teaching to your lessons.
I focus on using past paper questions alongside textbook content in my lessons - helping you really understand what the examiners are looking for! my lessons usually consist of past paper practise, with the accompanying mark schemes to aid excellent exam techniques, before a short discussion at the end to identify areas where the student would like to improve - these will be focused upon in the next lesson. I also ensure to affirm to my students of the excellent progress they are making, as I strive to make my lessons as engaging as possible. My lessons typically last for 1 hour and are for GCSE level students. I have experience of exam boards in both England and Wales, allowing me to adapt each lesson to each student to help them achieve the best grades.
Currently, I have experience of tutoring my siblings ahead of their GCSE's. This has allowed me tp appreciate how challenging theses exams can be, so I can relate to my students and the struggles they may face.
I provide a relaxed and friendly approach to tutoring, allowing my students to feel as comfortable as possible, while remaining patient and professional throughout the lesson to help my students achieve the best grades possible!
