The content of lessons would use visual aids, manipulatives, and games to help them grasp abstract concepts. I would also incorporate real-life examples and relate math to their interests to keep them engaged for an interactive lesson.
I finished my A levels ( Maths, Economics and Geography) in Cambridge in June 2023. I will go to Australia - the University of Melbourne for a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics.
I have been volunteering at my school, tutoring year seven students in mathematics, so I have the experience to help young students with maths. My passion for maths started in second grade, so I have participated in maths competitions or the Romanian Mathematics Olympiads.
Furthermore, I have worked as a camp counsellor in Turkiye for Future Stars while also participating in the academy, where I had 190 hours of learning the necessary skills and knowledge related to working with children and youth with a strong focus on programming planning and execution. While in this program, I also developed leadership, team building and community development skills.
