Hi, I am a Lancaster University graduate with a first class degree in Maths and French and I would love to help you reach your full potential.

When it comes to learning there is no one shoe that fits all therefore I will tailor my lessons to how you learn best and focus on optimising your strengths for the best possible outcome. I will help improve your understanding of mathematical concepts as well as provide guidance on how to improve your study skills. Maths is a logical subject and strong logical thinking is a skill that improves over time. What may seem obvious to some, will not be obvious to others, especially if it is something they are not familiar with. Therefore. I will help you to gain skills in pattern recognition and connect the dots that were missing so that no maths problem seems impossible.

In order to optimise the time in lesson, I would like you to give me a general area in which you would like to improve, such as a particular topic, so that I can prepare accordingly. Specific queries would be great, however, I understand that often it can be the case that you are unsure of what to ask, in which case I can help guide you.

I believe that maths is a subject that needs lots of practice to increase familiarity with it and therefore fluency in it so my lessons will be formatted using a combination of explanations, examples and practice questions.

I don't believe that there is such a thing as a silly question when it comes to learning. I understand that it can be difficult to ask questions, especially in school in front of other students, however, my lessons will be a safe and comfortable space focused on helping you reach your full potential where you can ask all the questions you would like.
