Here are some qualities I possess that I feel are integral in making me a great educator. I am direct, transparent, sincere, respectful, timely, honest, and peaceful. I believe that altruistic communication must always be established to ensure the best communication between multiple factions and possible conflicting interests. My relationship with my students is not just limited to just tutoring and having them learning from tutoring sessions since each student has allowed me to improve my teaching as a tutor and I have been able to teach concepts of their subject according to their needs by accommodating to their scheduling, learning habits, goals and commitments, and advising in certain occasions. As these tutoring sessions progressed, I understood better how to tutor the subjects by better expanding my knowledge in both my methodologies as a tutor, by proposing an approach affirming an academic or personal purpose of learning by extending a concept in its main foundations and purpose in appropriate contexts, both abstract and applied. From these observations, I have concluded that the power of learning through foundation and practice is best effective because students can get innovative approaches that allow them to make new discoveries through their learning and understanding, and this has made me feel grateful for having the opportunity to make a positive impact on their learning.
These experiences as an online tutor and having actively participated in virtual tutoring sessions for my students has made me conclude that theoretical and applied learning with consoling is the future of education. Today it is possible to provide students these topics to elaborate these two aspects with various methodologies and examples that abide to the mathematical context, and the virtual learning system through virtual classes is also an excellent way to check the understanding in when and how to use the information learned in the class. That is why today it is crucial to find this right balance between the abstract and the practical, but in a unitary context, so that these can be complemented and be part of the same concept of learning. Therefore, this allows students to be associated the concepts of the class under a single concept and not be aliened or confused as often happens.
