Through previous experience in tutoring, I have learnt it is essential to teach according to each students learning style, whether its visual, auditory or kinesthetic. The lessons will be planned according to the needs and capacity of the student and can be adjusted depending on how they feel throughout the process. Having learnt French from scratch when moving to Geneva and now being fluent in it, I understand the ins and outs of learning the language and can convey those hacks and tricks for faster learning.

Depending on what level of proficiency the student hopes to achieves through these lessons, I can plan accordingly. If the need is for professional speaking ability, there can be more formal french training whilst if the desire is to learn to converse easily in French, a different approach can be taken which encompasses the general speaking culture amongst Francophones.

The general format I use is to cover the essential verbs that are used regularly and their conjugations whilst learning vocabulary on the way, that way the student is able to speak basic sentences from the get-go and expand on that to create more complex dialogues. By learning the most commonly used verbs, adjectives and nouns, the student will be covering the majority of the language and all that would be left is adjusting the sentences depending on the tense they wish to speak in - past, present or future.

French is almost equational, a clear structure in place which I can help guide you along to achieve great language proficiency!
