Many think Chinese or Russian are difficult languages, others think Maths. What if I told you, this language is simple and is just the relationship between numbers, variables and the real world. After all, it’s only addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

A patient man but I use a direct approach, I’m firm and fair, my lessons aim to be inspiring. “Why” and “how” are big life lessons. My lessons are serious but tend to be fun as we can turn those frowns upside down. After each segment we will have an overview and small assessment to senior key concepts have been grasped and understood. True understanding can come from achieving but also from making mistakes.

My leadership qualities should inspire you to explore Maths, see it in your surroundings, when you make mental calculations or even cut cake! Maths is everywhere and is a beautiful part of life.

My teaching pedagogy varies as no two students are the same! Due to the nature of learning styles, I use an assessment to determine strengths and weaknesses of my students.

Content is focused on general learning and can be tailored to individual student needs where necessary.

Lessons are tailored to specific needs but reviews of other areas can warm up and refresh your memory. Like anything, if you practice correctly, you execute perfectly what you work towards.

Experience teaching a multitude of people from all ages and I’m aware of varying needs and a few teaching styles. I should also add, teaching only works if you are willing to learn and humble enough to listen. You are never too old to stop learning and I keep this close to me also.

Note: any problems are addressed immediately and any issues are resolved expeditiously, it’s a matter of time and not least money.
