Hello! I'm Ed, 22, originally from Oxford and now working in Manchester following completion of my bachelors degree in Economics and Sociology at the University of Manchester. Through tutoring, my goal is to positively influence students' perspectives on mathematics, boost their confidence, and support them in achieving their academic goals.

Having had a tutor myself, I recognise its value in not only enhancing grades but also instilling confidence and fostering a greater eagerness to learn. My experience volunteering with children both nationally and internationally, and knowledge gained throughout my academic journey have made me well equipped with the necessary skills to effectively support students in their studies.

I employ a flexible tutoring approach tailored to the specific needs of the student as I recognise the diversity in learning styles among students. I also believe it's crucial to consolidate and test understanding, for example through review questions, and ensure comprehensive coverage of the syllabus to ensure optimal awareness of the content included in an examination.
