If your desire is to learn to play for fun and your own enjoyment then you will learn the basics and quickly move onto some simple tunes. You learn at your own pace. All I ask is that you try your best to put in 30 minutes of practice every day or every other day. That way you will get the most out of your lessons and see progression.
