My lessons are student centred, which means my students get to practise their English as much as possible. The lessons are also customised based on the needs analysis that the students complete and on their strengths and weaknesses that I assess on their first day. I use a variety of materials from course books to authentic materials such as newspapers and TED talks. The student is also encouraged to bring any materials of interest to the lesson and work they would like me to look at and give feedback on. There are regular reviews to ensure the student retains the vocabulary and grammar learnt in lessons. After every lesson, they will receive lesson notes with mistakes made and suggested corrections. I am an approachable, flexible, open and patient tutor. I encourage my students to give me feedback too and it's crucial for me that my students are happy with their lessons and activities presented to them as well as their progress.
