I teach literature and creative writing with prime examples. Such as Zadie Smith, Marcus Sedgwick, Justin Torres and much more. Every genre will be gone through, including short stories, poems, novels and anthologies. Students will also be doing writings of the things we go through in lessons, where I can asses their improvement and give them feedback. Texts will be assigned for reading during lesson gaps for the best understanding of each weeks lesson, which we will analyse each text. These teaching methods vary for each age group and the things they aim to achieve at the end. For GCSE students I will help them prepare for exams. With children younger than GCSE age, I will teach age appropriate literature and develop their knowledge, while working on their end goals. For college students studying literature or preparing for university, I will teach what they should expect with each year and basic knowledge of their level literature.
