Becoming a tutor means more to me than educating students in a class like atmosphere, i intend to have fun as we are learning as I know how difficult it can be to learn under such conditions. I was a very difficult student who didn't find it easy to take in information in school, eventually I found my own way to revise even though it took time. That is the aspirations I have for my students, although you must manage time well, they need to understand that if they don't take in the information and process it, it is not as beneficial. Time is only a factor in the learning which I am prepared to extend boundaries to ensure the student has the best quality of education as I can provide, especially since I know firsthand that struggling without help only made me more anxious to learning new things. For how the lessons will run, it will originated with me asking the student on what they already know (it is a lot less formal than a test, as it can help me and the student build a relationship if trust in education) then we will go through a checklist of topics that they may be weakest at, in order to identify what topics need the most time on them. Furthermore, we will find the most efficient way that will assist the student in revision methods so they can no longer be stressed about exams since we know the learning patterns of the way the student learns, this will make future lessons easier and more enjoyable as once you understand a topic, it becomes less daunting. My aim is to give the student as much freedom and room for error as possible so we can practice correcting the wrongs before the time. All of this learning will be executed at a slow and steady pace so the student will not be overwhelmed by the masses of work that is being added on. As we share a common goal to enhance the student's learning, it is in there best interest that they should be looked out for when learning so they do not feel discouraged further down the line.
