Dylan Lee Labon

Hello, my name is Dylan Labon, and I have 20 years of combined experience in the field of music including performing, teaching, and composing. I began performing and competing on my primary instrument, the cello, at the young age of 10. Additionally, I began learning and performing on the euphonium, French Horn, and guitar the following year. I have taught private beginner cello lessons intermittently for 14 years, and I worked as an assistant high school marching band teacher for 7 years. Currently, I am student at the recording branch of the Los Angeles Film School, and I am scheduled to complete my bachelor's of arts and science in music production in August of 2024. And while my degree is specialized in music composition and lyric writing, I have passion for all fields of the music industry. And given that my degree is also a music science degree, I have a strong love for the science and math behind sound and music as well. Furthermore, I have already completed and earned a perfect score on my dissertation regarding the physics and mathematics behind the musical harmonic series. My current goal after finishing my degree is to find permanent work in the music industry, so I can possess a job that is both personally and professionally rewarding. I hope that I can share my deep passion and love for the art of music with every student I meet, and for those that hope to pursue a future music career, I plan to set them on the right path for success.
