I have completed A Level Economics with an A* grade and have just completed an undergraduate degree in economics from the university of Edinburgh and expect to receive a first class degree. Leveraging my academic achievements and firsthand experience, I am dedicated to teaching you the fundamentals, making economics fun and straightforward. I firmly believe that I can comprehend and address the challenges of another student, having navigated through them personally. Together, we will navigate the intricacies of economics.

Naturally I provide lessons focused on the curriculum associated with the level of study of my student but, having a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in the field, I am likewise more than happy to focus on any specialist interests within the field to help cultivate my student's passion for the topic. Particular areas of my own expertise are: statistical methods, machine learning, agriculture and bio-economics, development, public policy, energy policy and small island policy.

Beyond academic experience, I spent a year working at the OECD - a world leading organization on economics research. During this time I gained first hand experience on how economics research is conducted at the highest level, the sorts of skills required and the mindsets conducive to excellence. It is these skills and this mindset which I aim to help my students develop, so that they can excel not just at their current level of study but as they move further forwards into higher levels of education or careers. Much of this is not unique to the field of economics and highly transferable between many professions and fields of research, giving my students the best possible head-start.
