Hi! My name is Dunya and I am here to help you maximise your English.

Coming from a multicultural background, I have first-hand experience on how important it is to have *patient* teachers - people who understand that it can be terrifying learning a language and speaking it! And thats why I am here, providing a space where mistakes are encouraged! After all, how can one learn without errors?

As your tutor, my aim is to help you be at ease with your language skills and realise them to its full potential. Oftentimes, students will have the skills but be weary of putting them to use. With my personally-tailoired lessons, students will steadily develop their confidence in no time. Encouraging students to speak as much as possible, while gently correcting errors, helps build confidence and fluency. Utilising diverse teaching materials, such as videos, articles, and interactive activities, can cater to different learning styles and keep the lessons dynamic. Furthermore, flexibility is key; being able to adjust lesson plans based on the student's progress and feedback ensures that the learning process remains effective and responsive.

The first lesson will be casual and an opportunity for me to get to know you, your context and goals. We will both craft a plan we are happy to proceed with, listing themes for each coming week on what our conversations will entail. Before weekly lessons, students will be asked to complete written homework which will be discussed in the lesson. Progress will be tracked on collaborative online documents.
