Job Ref: - Online Tutor of English as a Foreign Language

I wish to apply for the role of Online Tutor of English as a Foreign Language, currently being advertised on . As you can see from my attached application, I have over ten years of experience in a wide range of sectors, and I believe the knowledge and skills built up during this time makes me the perfect candidate for the role.

I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism and worked in a wide range of settings, where I have utilised my excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. However, I have always wanted to make a difference in people’s life and it has become my passion to pursue a career in teaching English as a second language.

I am currently, working as a Teaching Assistant with Timeplan, where I have gained a strong knowledge of the classroom involved in the preparation and delivery of lessons to a range of classes and age groups, and providing extra support to children with special needs.

In my previous work, I gained a strong knowledge of dealing with confidentiality and sensitive information whilst undertaking any Asylum cases as an interpreter and translator, or as a Teaching Assistant. This proves that I have the ability to encompass my strong beliefs and work. In becoming a teacher, I believe that everyone should begin with equal opportunities and I know that I would receive no greater satisfaction than helping each and every student to reach their full potential, regardless of their background. Furthermore, I strongly feel that no matter what the circumstances or challenges, it is always when teaching, I have realised that the more challenging situation, the greater the satisfaction I gain. I enjoy working in a team and find it easy to adapt to challenging situations by using previous experiences and skills.
