About me

Most students are focussed on getting through their exams so I put a lot of emphasis on past paper practice. This then directs me on which areas to focus on for understanding. Rather than just regurgitating the entire syllabus.

Of course, I am flexible in my approach and will let the student lead on the focus areas, if they so wish.

Most students are focussed on getting through their exams so I put a lot of emphasis on past paper practice. This then directs me on which areas to focus on for understanding. Rather than just regurgitating the entire syllabus.

Of course, I am flexible in my approach and will let the student lead on the focus areas, if they so wish.

I will generally explain the methodology, go through an example question myself and then ask the student to attempt several questions. Then depending on their understanding I'll intervene with explanations or give hints/comments on their approach.

I teach one-to-one sessions, group sessions and online. I am happy to travel to the student, and can do block lessons if so required.
