Dr. Vijay Anand

I am a qualified Scientist and Tutor with many years of experience within Academic research and Biotech sectors. I have been a tutor of science subjects during my spare time, for well over five years. I am experienced in teaching General Science, Chemistry and Biology subjects up to Advanced level according to UK curriculum, covering AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards. I make sure all my students understand the topics by using simple easy to follow language style and examples that can be remembered easily. I also check with the students that they understand and remember the topics I have covered using on the spot assessments and informal quizzes.

Several of my students have achieved top grades in these subjects and have been selected to do science related courses at popular British universities. While I was doing my postgraduate degrees at the university, I worked as a Tutor and Demonstrator for undergraduate courses, including Pathway to Science summer school. I enjoy teaching science subjects as well as advising my students on career choices. I have received many praises from students and their parents for my services.
