I am a highly experienced DBS-registered tutor for GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have an exam-focussed, syllabus-specific approach, but also seek to impart cutting-edge knowledge, nurture flare and interest in my students, so that they can achieve their best examination results. My previous students have achieved up to A*s and gone on to study Medicine at Oxford and Engineering at Imperial and Brunel Universities. I am a very experienced research scientist holding B.Sc., MSc and PhD degrees in Biochemistry. I also have an extensive experience in managing careers and knowledge of university courses. I would therefore be able to offer advice on courses and career.

I am flexible to work around my students` school commitments, including evenings and weekends. I can offer both face to face tutoring at the student`s or my own home, or online. I am experienced with using the Zoom and Skype platforms for online teaching.

University Teaching Experience
Delivery of 50 lectures per academic year to university B.Sc. students of Biochemistry. My area of expertise especially covered biophysical techniques and their usage to study the structure and properties of macromolecules, including peptides, proteins, DNA.
I set out exam questions and marked the 1st, 2nd and final year degree exam papers in my subject area. I was a member of the examination committee. I offered set and supervised weekly practical classes and supervised undergraduate, master’s and PhD students.
