I have plans to propose new ways of teaching that will sustain the interest of students to accomplish higher levels of proficiency of the Arabic language. Although my current advanced courses comprise some aspects of the language of media, something that has gained the admiration of students, I intend to design a completely separate course that focuses on Arabic of print and visual media. Other possible courses include: Mastering Arabic through Literature I (Novels and Short Stories), and II (Drama), and Translation . In short, I teach my students both Arabic linguistics and culture because I am completely convinced that language and culture are inseparable from each other.
