IN PERSON and ONLINE Science and Maths lessons (via Skype or zoom). I`m a qualified Secondary teacher and highly experienced one-to-one tutor, as well as a Registered Examiner for Edexcel and Cambridge International Examinations. I'm approachable, sensitive, patient and good with children including those of shy disposition. DBS checked. Unfortunately I'm unable to offer first lesson free!

Over16 years experience tutoring (year 5 to year 13).Tuition is tailored to individual strengths and weaknesses. One to one tuition includes guidance in exam technique and plenty of exam practice.

I have experience teaching a wide range of specifications, including-

A LEVEL: I`m a Key stage 5 chemistry specialist. I teach A level chemistry all boards including Cambridge Pre-U syllabus

GCSE/IGCSE: 9-1 specifications in maths, chemistry, physics and biology, all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge.

KEY STAGE 3 & PRIMARY: maths, chemistry, physics and biology (National Curriculum/SATS). Entrance exam preparation for independent schools including Common Entrance 11+, 13+. Grammar school entrance 11 plus preparation including maths, verbal reasoning & comprehension.

My background includes a postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS); a doctorate in chemistry, and postdoctoral research (at Imperial college London), as well as being a published author in several international scientific journals. I am DBS checked.
