I am an enthusiastic, resilient and a hard-working secondary school (science, chemistry) teacher with a Full-QTS and four years teaching experience at a British Secondary and Post 16 school, 8 years experience of university lecturing and a long-term life experience. I have outstanding classroom management and a genuine passion for helping pupils of all abilities to achieve the highest expectations.
My wide range of skills in teaching chemistry, which has been constructed thoroughly while doing my PhD course in the UoN | UK (2014–2017) and long teaching experience in academia between 2006–2013, has been reinforced and reshaped when I have studied the PGCE in 2021 and while I am working as a chemistry teacher at a British secondary school (2022 to date, Sep 2024). Additionally, having a long history with lecturing in academia which helped me to easily adopt the KS5 curriculum, I chose to further consolidate my teaching expertise by voluntarily spending more time focusing on KS3 and KS4 in the past three years.
Throughout my job over the last four years with embedding my previous experience, I have implemented successful classroom management techniques, delivered engaging lessons and driven the development of students towards the intended expectations of the aimed success for my students. This blended and long-term experience has resulted in very strong teaching skills, high awareness and a successful implementation of the UK Teachers’ Standards.
