My lessons are evaluated by my colleagues as engaging and stimulating.

As a Principal and Ofsted inspector I'm fully aware of what style of teaching has the greatest impact on learning.

A starter activity linking previous learning to new learning, clear explanations, modelling of concepts, student participation, encouragement of critical thinking skills, effective plenaries mid way and at the end of learning to check understanding, relevant ICT usage, impactful homework tasks to continue learning: all these are key characteristics of my style of teaching and learning.
