My teaching has three stages.
First subjects/topics with be introduced with all relevant theories and guiding principles.
Secondly, the topic will be related to real life experience to enhance understanding and it's relevance.
Finally, questions related to the topic will be solved and the student will have the opportunity to solve relevant questions correctly. The topic ends when students are able to solve questions on their own with ease.
They are options for a revision which I advice students to always opt for especially when they are preparing for exams. This section focus on questions and answers and it is aimed at ensuring that the studen is on top of the subject and has good control to handle slightly changed questions.
They are instances where the revision reveals some weaknesses of the student. The revision will address the weakness immediately. Where the student show significant weakness I have a way of narrowing the lessons to the possible exams questions and boosting the learning to jump start the students exams ability.
In teaching workers and adults, I adopt more practical approach where real life experience features more in the presentation. Examples are usually published financial reports, management and statutory financial reports. The tutorial is more interactive and I ensure that every member of the team is on the same page. No one is left behind.
It is worth noting that my lessons are never bored due to my industry experience and deep knowledge of the subject. I am about to connect theories and practice.
