Having studied, taught and researched Geology in both the UK and Canada, I am well equipped to tutor you in KS2/KS3 Science, GCSE and A Level Geology and a multitude of university courses, as well as to help foster your passion/interest in the subject.
The main subject areas that I will be able to tutor you in include introductory geology/mineralogy/petrology, sedimentology, field techniques and the entire syllabus for GCSE/A Level Geology. My specialism is in palaeontology and I will therefore be able to tutor you on both introductory and advance subjects within this area.
Upon our first session, and discussing what you want to be tutored on, I will develop a personalised teaching experience which will be a combination of one-to-one lessons, discussions, assigned tasks and recommended further reading (if applicable).
If you have a particular style of teaching you prefer, or if during the tutoring a style becomes apparent, then we can cater your lessons to this style.
My lessons will actively engage you in the subject and help develop your confidence across the geosciences.
