I'm also very keen on the practical application of everything I teach, when appropriate. As well as going beyond the text book examples whenever possible; linking participants' learning to what's happening in the world around them.

All my classes are planned, I start by explaining the plan in detail from beginning to end, and setting my expectations from the participants, as well as getting their expectations from me.

Generally speaking, I follow my class plans meticulously, yet I'm never afraid to skip the plan and free style at times when I see a need to.

I like to explain a lot, and give as many examples as I can. I always stress the general rules and principles, yet I only find them valid when there's a clear practical applications of such rules. I generally tend to neglect fancy or too theoretical principles that have no practical application, unless I absolutely have to mention them for foundation reasons. I'm very much concerned with the "Why" aspect of ideas more than the "How". I do not neglect the "How" to do things the correct way, but I focus more on "Why" we need to do this or that, or this rather than that. There's always a goal, a practical application, a direct benefit and clear use of every single learning point I teach.

My classes are always casual, fun and informal.
