I have 29 years teaching experience and has won a National Best Teacher Award. As a result of my love for teaching ,Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA) sponsored me to participate in a Youth invitation programme which was held in Japan.The programme has been so beneficial to me in my profession as a teacher.
I see teaching an art,vocation and profession so I employ various methods to guide my students to our destination. I also believe the classroom environment should always be so lovely students will always want more and never feel sorry for coming to school.
Learning is a permanent change of behaviour as a result of knowledge gained so every good teacher will have to always tailor his lesson in a manner that will have positive impact mot only on the students but his/her community, nation and globally. Lessons have to be made so practical that not even self motivation can cause its decay.
The most recent school I thought was Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary in Ghana and their academic excellence is hailed.
I have good communication with both students and parent,very patient because I know students learn at different places,willing to learn because teaching and learning go hand in hand and a good teacher never stops learning. I am empathetic because I understand what my students go through when they have any difficulty. Confidence is what has taken me this far in addition to passion and discipline.My students should be ready to be motivated because I am self motivated
