Hi there!

I love to engage with passionate, dedicated learners who are looking to increase their knowledge and understanding of English language and literature. I am comfortable utilising a multi-modal approach, using multiple types of media or tools to best deliver what you need, how you need it. For example, I can personalised slides, help you find relevant, credible and reliable research resources, show you examples and clarify concepts in a manner best suited to you.

I have a colloquial/ casual and friendly style of delivery, but make no mistake, I love what I do and expect my students or learners to engage in the material, rather than simply receive lessons. This is where learning happens, in the space between seeking knowledge and developing understanding.

I have worked in the high-school setting from Grade 8, all the way through to undergraduate level in tertiary colleges. For the last seven years, I have been the English literature lecturer at a private college, from year one through year three, covering introductory work all the way to postmodernism. I have also taught multiple level of introductory modules, such as Academic Literacy and Introduction to English Studies and finally some psychology modules, such as Personality Theories.
