Professional GCSE Maths and English and Functional skills Online Trainer/Tutor working with a variety of students of different key stages, all with differing educational barriers helping them overcome their various difficulties into achieving academic goal. I work in partnership with the student themselves to find out what these barriers are and help them overcome them.

I have extensive experience working within the SEN sector working with specifically years old
young adults who have for various reasons including trauma and EBD are in secure care where duties
included working with the learners to re-engage in learning.

I have also taught ESOL students both here in the UK and in Italy, teaching functional skills for Entry levels 1,2, and 3 in both maths and English, recently completed a contract at RAF Cosford within the ELT Department teaching either pilots or engineers both academic English and technical English which has signified designing and creating teaching methods and materials to match the needs of individual groups.

In addition I have trained adults in employability skills, basic functional skills such maths, English and ICT whilst helping them making the transition back into employment by means of over-coming at times entrenched learning barriers.

I have extensive experience as a freelance Tutor, helping young students who ages range from 4
years old to university level, to regain ground perhaps lost at school, develop confidence whilst learning
new skills, but most of all ensuring they are constantly motivated into producing their own personal best.
Areas taught in this role have been primarily A’level Literature and language (AQA,OCR , Edexcel ), GCSE (AQA,OCR, Edexcel, Cambridge), 11 plus entrance examinations, SAT’s, as well as KS1, KS2 and KS3. In addition I have taught KS1, KS2 and KS3 Art and Art History.
